Do candidates need to install anything?
No. They open one link in a browser, on a laptop or a phone, and work the boards with a pointer or a finger. There is nothing to type and nothing to download. The call itself stays on Teams, Zoom or Meet.
Can a candidate copy, paste or cheat?
Nothing on a board can be selected, copied or pasted, and there is no text to feed an assistant. Every stop is a conversation about what they placed, so the talk is the test. The console shows you every move as it happens.
Does it work with Teams, Zoom and Google Meet?
Yes. Paste the meeting link and askspresso joins as a named participant, records with consent, and keeps the live rail beside you. Prefer no bot? Run the hour from the console and paste the transcript afterwards.
Does the AI score people?
No. Boards grade themselves against a checked key, which is one signal among many. You rate what you heard, and the copilot's second opinion stays sealed until you commit. It is decision support behind your judgment, never an automated employment decision.
What about consent and recording?
The candidate sees exactly what is captured before they start, and agrees. Recordings and transcripts stay in your workspace, every workspace is isolated, and you can export or delete at any time. We look at what people say and do, never at emotion.
Is my private repo safe?
A scrubbed sample goes to our AI provider to design the hour: credentials are redacted and .env and key files are never opened. Candidates only ever see the boards, and every candidate-visible string is checked against your repository before the hour is frozen.
